This might be a stupid question and i'm probably just being dumb for asking this.
But if i install an air scoop like this one http://www.modernparts.com/aspx/Store/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=4331and have it coming through the hood. If i were to drive it while it rainned would it cause any problems? Or is it nothing to worrie about at all? Because sometimes the rain here just comes without any say in the Spring/Summer lol!

Lol glad i'm not the only one!
I was thinking too that because of the filter it should be fine?
I don't see too much water entering through the passages eh?

The ad says it is for "Race Only".....
Are you planning on using it on the street?

Perfect man thanks for the links.

And that was just for a visual so i could make sure everyone knew exactly what i was talking about.
I will be using it only on the streets for a summer cruiser. :)

As long as the filter is not restrictive it should be OK.
I prefer to keep everything under the hood but that is a personal choice.
I would think that a cool air package (sometimes referred to as "ram air") would provide more power and as large a filter as you can keep under your hood won't be restrictive at all.
