    Hey Ya'll,
I've just found a Maverick for sale, it's a 4 door, with a 302, and the Grabber hood! Is it possible this IS a Grabber?
    Thanks,
    Mike

There were never any grabber 4 doors. Someone just swapped the hood.

what he said. ALL "Grabber" models were two door, built from 70-75 and will have a '93' as the 3rd & 4th digits of the VIN

thats common with many mavericks, people prefer the grabber hood over the flat one and use them.

In my 57 years on this planet, I've bought and saved several cars from the crusher. Mainly for my respect for them. The Grabber, with a small block, is definitely worth respect!

If the hood is in good shape, and fairly rust free, it's probably worth more than the car.

If that was here in Az. Iwould go look at it. It looks like it's in pretty good condition. Even if it needs an engine there's got to be a lot of good parts in it.:)

Looks pretty nice from what you can tell by the crappy pics. Why would you choose a burned down house and a cemetery as places to take pics of a car? :16suspect
