I am about to put new floor pans in the front of my '73 two door. I have '70-'71 mustang front floor pans in my '75. They took a bit of messaging to make work. What is the concensus of you metal fab./restorer guys here on the forum, on which floor pan is the easiest to make work in a Maverick? Excluding the new Autokrafters floor pans. Thank you guys, in advance.:Handshake
I used flat sheet metal and a cardboard template. But I am pretty cheap when I think I can do it myself
Autokrafters, does not have floor pans. I guess it all depends on how fussy you are, I'm using Mustang pans, that I've cut down to fit properly, and look stock.
http://www.who-sells-it.com/cy/auto...-accessories-2008-17615/page-85-fullsize.html I was going by this link that I found in an unanswered post. I did'nt think so either untill I saw that link. AK seems to be known for their high price, yet marginal fittment when it comes to Mavericks. So I figured a reputable Mustang pan would probably fit as good as an AK Maverick pan, at half the price.
I'm using the generic 66-70 Mustang pans, they were twenty ($$) something a piece, they are the long ones. I've cut them down quite a bit, just so everything will line up. I'm still working on them.....
