1.75primaries 3.5collector Crites is the only choice. All the other headers have to be modified so much that your better off just making a custom set IMHO....

Because the engine compartment is so small there is no bolt on and go that I know of for the 351W swap. This is not a job for the newbe at modding. Do the Crites as posted above maybe other have had better luck then me.
I know the pics have been removed but I posted once on what it takes to install a set of 6208 hookers. What a nightmare that was.

Good luck which ever way you go.

    Maverick 302-351w headers - $ 359

Is Crites saying that one set of headers fit both the 302 and tha351w in a Maverick? Who on this forum, has a set of Crites headers on a 351w in a Maverick? Even if it is two different sets/ part#s, I would like to se some pics. Am I navigating their site wrong, or can you not see a picture of their headers?:D

There isn't any pictures of them on there site, if you go to my images I have a picture of the set I bought, I don't have them installed yet but they seem like they will go in without any problems since all the tubes are removable from the collector. You'll also have to cut out the center ribs of the shock towers so they clear, they provide you with a template so you can mark where to cut them and they give you plates to weld into the section that gets cut out. I also just went and shaved my towers since I cut out the ribs. Other then that you will need to get a 90 degree adapter for the oil filter or relocate it somewhere else because of the clearance between the headers and where the oil filter comes out

Thank you for the picture. Finally, I see what they did to make them work, two tubes in front and two tubes behind the shock towers. I have my shock towers done just like yours. Even the lower part of the rib removed, and plated back in.:Handshake

A friend of mine did it for me, actually. All mig welded and ground down. If you did'nt know any better, you would think that it came from the factory like that. He did a really good, clean job. Sorry I could'nt be of any help in that area.
