need some help

    ok so i combed through all the tech articles and found nothing so maybe someone here can help. im in the process of completely striping the paint off the car but need to get all the trim pieces off. so far ive been very sucessful but i cant figure out how to get the windshield wipers off. and the lower trim on the front windshield. can one of you please help me out and if possible include phonos especially for the lower trim piece.

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    The wiper arms will have a small lever on the bottom face where they attach to the wiper shaft.You will see a small tab...Lift the arm like you would to chang the blade and pull the lever towards the windshield and release your grip on the arm. It will settle on the tab holidng it in place so you can wiggle the arm off the shaft.
    As for the trim it comes off like the rest of the windshiled trip with the exception of the two screws that attach it to the base of the A pillar on each side of the car. You will have to pull the front fenders off the access the screws. Good luck!!!

    You do not have to pull off the fenders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Take the side chrome off first and you will be able to get to the screws.

    You sir are correct...Been soo long since I took mine off...
    Yes, once you pull the verticle trim on the windshield you will find a screw on each side in the channel that hold the ends of the bottom trim in place. You may have to dig out some crud buildup or sealer to find em but they are there...
