    Hey there

I'm trying to find out something on behalf of my dad. Does the 73 Maverick (automatic tranny, straight six engine) have a front sway bar?

    Thanks

ive also seen them in 5/8" or 11/16"

the 7/8" came with the "heavy duty" suspension option. ive had 38 mavericks/comets and only had ONE with the big sway bar

If you need one, I have a stock '72 sway bar you can have if you can arrange pickup. I replaced it with a 7/8".

Thanks for the info, guys. Next thing: Is there a reputable online dealer who specializes in Maverick parts? Thanks again!

For parts, most of the time you are going to be looking at used/junk yards. For reproduction parts, you can check out AutoKrafters, and (depending on the part) Mustang parts will work from Mustang houses like CJPony, etc.

If you are looking for something specific, be sure to use the search function at the top first. You can find out a bunch of info. :yup:

unfortunately there isnt a one stop shop for maverick parts. at least not that ive found yet. AutoKrafters is good but pretty expensive. for motor stuff i typically stick with summit. mainly because i like there web layout and shipping is normally cheap.
