I have a 1974 comet two door that has a 250 engine with a blown head i need help in finding a head preferably used as money is tight i live in san diego
Needed 250 head Hi Mark, I live in Tijuana, but work in Kearny Mesa, and I have a head off a 1976 Maverick with the 250 engine. The engine was running well when I pulled the head off about 2 years ago. The head has been sitting since then. It would probably need a set of valve seals (easy to do with the head off), and it's (very) dusty, but should be good other than that. I used the block in my '73 Maverick, but not the head, since I had already done some modifications on the head on my '73. I'd like to get $50 for the head - would that work for you?
