Great article. I know what you mean, I had a 72 Comet in High school and loved that car, I wrecked it and sent it on its way to the scrap yard, dumb me. Fast forward to just a few yrs ago and I purchased my 71 Comet. Since then, I have been slowly acquiring mavericks for parts. My first mav had a 302 that spun a bearing and the guy told me i was a runner, well I sold some of the metal and bought three more mavs, I am saving one a 1970 Grabber, the other two where part of a package deal. Then I bought a 75 just recently for the motor and tranny. Just need to get that shop built to finish the project. Parts gathering has been a long and tedious task. Your article inspired me to finish my project next year, thank you. Although I don't know if it will be painted by then, but thanks just the same.

wow, I'm flattered that you found such inspiration in my article. Good luck with your project. My philosophy is it doesn't have to look good it just has to run.
