Pulled a wiring harness from a 75 comet and the turn signal plugs are non existent. Can i wire the old plug up from the maverick or am i going to have to use comet turn signals:16suspect
The comet wiring harness i pulled out of a 75 has a plastic piece that locks into the turn signal itself. I was wondering if i could cut the wires on the lock and wire the plug to the 74 maverick plug to the comet harness which is kind of like the grabber sport lamps. Ill try to get some pictures of it but thats the best i can explain it.
The wires should be the same color...so you should be able to do that. Keep in mind some wiring harnesses do not plug into each other from year to year. Double check everything to make sure all the wires and plugs are the same.
