Is the sending unit for the 71-74's the same for the 75-77's?

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
Im using the sending unit off a 74. Height wise the 74 tank looks to be the same as the 76 one. Last time i ran the car i put ten gallons in and it marked halfways. So seems like it works :) I think the 71-73 tanks are different than the 74 one.

All units include a gasket and fuel sock filter - autokrafters

So does it include a float too? Just curious...

The sending unit I see on Autokrafters is for a 71 - 74 Maverick. Any ideas if this will work?
