Hey, I'm new here , I have a 62 comet but with a 71 maverick 200ci engine, just curious to where I could get a rebuild kit or where to get a brand new carb?

    Thanks, Lee:thumbs2:

I have a 72 Comet with the 200 engine, Carter single barrel carb. I went to my local O'Reilly Auto Parts and picked up a kit for $15.99. I don't know how well it'll work, but the nearest thing I found on the net was three times the price. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.... Just get your carb number and go to O'Reilly's or NAPA and see what they can dig up.

Oh, also... you can get a new (remanufactured) carb for that engine at O'Reilly's for about $150. I checked, just in case....
