As you all know, there aren't many books dedicated to the Ford Maverick. I have a single (Chilton) Maverick book on my shelf next to three feet of books dedicated to the Plymouth Barracuda / E-Body Mopars. I came across this book on Amazon for a good price so I grabbed it: "Ford Maverick V8 1970-72" by Kenneth Ball (Hardcover - Published by Autobook in 1973) 180 pages imported from England I see they also have a similar "Ford Maverick 1969-71" by Kenneth Ball as well. Anyway I believe the Autobook series is similar to Chilton or Haynes. Anyone else have one of these?
I have never seen one of those. Theres also a book by a guy in brazil its about the history of the maverick, he sells english versions as well.
If its the one I'm thinking of, I bought one back in 72 when I first got my Sprint. I'll have to look for it later today.
I have that book, it's in English and Portuguese. Take some pictures of that other book and post them! I have a bunch of Ford engineering books, on Mavericks, the stuff they used at the assembly plants..
Yep, I have both of those books by Kenneth Bell. I also have the obligatory Chilton's manuals, but one hardcover from 1970, one hardcover from 1974, and the other paperback from 1977. You never know what you'll find in used bookstores... Pics below.
