Will fox body shorties work in our cars? What clearance issues would there be?

in my opinion shorty headers are not worth the money or metal they are made in. they flow just a hair better than a stock manifolds. id stick with manifolds or long tubes

Thanks for the input yall. I had rather go with full length but then I would like to use side pipes since it is a Stabber. I thought shorties would help. It actually had side pipe covers so I could simply turn the pipes out with full length headers. The only shorties I could find for our cars are 1 1/2 inch. Also I have GT40Ps that are being worked that wll further complicate matters. The short plugs from Accel are 10$ a piece!! Wish I'd known that to begin with.

Back in the 70's I had side pipes on my Falcon. I put a S pipe between the header and side pipe. It didn't hurt enough to feel the performance on the street. Easy to uncork if needed.
