lol. I know there are a lot easier ways to go that speed. I can't say nothing about driving unsafe cars. MY dad has a 351w in a tr7 and it is scary driving when you realize how its made. If this bolt pulls through the floorboard the transmission is going to hit the ground:yup:. I ran it one time and it was a 10.06 at 75mph spinning to the 60ft mark on 195-70-14 street tires that were dry rotted. I want to say I will never drive it again but if he gets it going again I am dumb enough to drive it. Heck I'd drive that comet too.. Heck I think I was a lot smarter before I started fooling with cars:idea:

That's pretty damn good. Finishing up touches aside, all the crybaby's that say you can't put a 351W with good headers in a stock Maverick can take that picture and eat their heart out.

With a little more work on reinforcing the shock towers, some new bracing that doesn't interfere with radiator air flow like the stock support obviously did, and a linked monte carlo bar to shock towers, this car could be a jem.

I would drive the living daylights out of it..... In an empty walmart parkinglot with saftey gear. It would be a nice donut car.

I think its off to a pretty good start, all he needs is a full weekend, 2 rolls of mig wire, and about 400 feet or round tubing to brace that thing up.
