When I bought my car this last January, it had been sitting for a year. The owner had put staybil in the gas though. It had 3/4 of a tank of gas in it. I jump started it and drove sit home. I did put a fuel system cleaner in the first couple of tanks of gas though and then replaced the fuel filter. Changed the oil and filter and gave it a tune up and it runs great. I did notice a improvement in the way it ran when I replace the fuel filter. I also checked the timing and adjusted it to 9d btdc and that made a big improvement. Enjoy. :drive:

There's one thing I forgot to add to the list...

Make sure the head lights, tail lights, and brake / turn signal lights are working properly.

For some reason, almost everyone (myself included) forgets about the lights until one goes out.

    Hello from Minnesota,
I was just reading through the posts and My Mav usually sits in storage for 9+ months out of the year. When I take it out of storage I check all the fluids, belts, change the oil, and add Seafoam to the tank. I try to run the first tank of gas close to empty and fill it with new. I havn't had a issue yet.

Welcome from Colorado :tiphat: Nothin' wrong with a good strong 250 especially when they are fed by 3 side drafts. Kinda nostalgic but the looks and performance will never die:drive:
