I was recommended to get Strange Engineering shocks, the double adjustable kind. I believe they make them custom as well have standard sizes they have available. Anyone know what size our shocks are?

The front shocks are the same as 64-70 Mustangs, so that should be easy. But the rears are Maverick specific.

mo's looking for shocks that will be fully adjustable to allow for drag racing, street driving, and close road high speed racing like the silver state classic.

There are so many Mavs that have been converted to drag cars, they ought to have something worked up for them, even if they don't specifically publish them in their standard lists.

That's why they should be easy to find for the front, someone should make what he wants for Mustangs, it'll be the rears that will give him issues.

If you cant find what you need for the rear just get yourself 2 sets of rear shocks. Swap them out when you go drag racing. Easy enough to do especially if your changing the back wheels for the track.

Nissan truck shocks fit. I can't remember which one specifically, but there's a list and article in the tech articles section. I've got KYB Gas A Just shocks on my front and rear right now, and the rears are Nissan truck shocks.

I am running qa1 6 way adjustable on my car with an adapter for the bottom of the shock, I can go from a very soft ride to a ride that will bounce the car off the ground on a speed bump, of course the hard ride is not for the street but all you have to do is turn a valve on the bottom of shock and you can tune your ride for whatever you want.

You might also look into Rancho shocks as they make several adjustable shocks in a variety of sizes and could probaly match a size for your needs

Yes stock location but have a u shaped adapter on bottom because shocks have eyelet at botton, would be easy to make but these are factory made. I will get you a number and a pic

The mav is gone but i'm still here!
If you go to the "ford front suspension" tech article i list the adjustable front shocks from various companies. Competition engineering also sells rear adjustable shocks for mavericks, just give them a call.
