70 maverick wont accelerate right

    When I start from a stop my Maverick accelerates fine until about 10 mph and from there to around 20 mph it kinda stutters when I accelerate instead of accelerating smoothly. Anyone have an idea of what I can do to fix it?

    74 4 door comet getting ready to install 351W in place of 250 i6 spun bearing. And a 74 mav with 302
    I had that problem with mine and was lucky enough to have it be a plugged filter. but could have tocheck fuel pump to see if its pumping enough fuel
