Is there any interest in big bumpers out there. Mine are in good shape and I'd like to recover some of my expense once I swap to the early ones. These are super heavy so I don't imagine they would ship easy...but I don't want to scrap them if someone needs them. Just wondering...:hmmm:

Uh-Oh, another california guy asking how much something is worth.

I wouldn't say they are worth much. I'd just be happy to find somebody that could use them if I was you.

For someone keeping a big bumper car stock, they could be worth a good chunk!

One day i hope to get one of them big bumper gobblers, I'm one of the few that think they look good on certain cars.

If you wee closer, i would give you a nice amount for them.

The inner, rear bumper is hard to find in good condition.

I like the big bumpers. My 75 is original and I have some spare big bumpers. I still can't figure why people want to change to a smaller one. There's more chrome with big bumpers and it looks nicer.

I'm not looking to score a fortune as I know they are not as sought after as other parts. I'm not a parts dealer but I have bought a few parts from members here and never lowballed anyone. I've seen some very kind gestures by members and I'm willing to help out when I can. If someone really has a need for them to get their car up to standard I would gladly donate them. I always enjoy the lighthearted banter and the professionalism on the forum but comments like these are kind of a downer.

I had mine for sale locally for over two years. I finally sold them last march for $20 to a guy who is using them on his mustang two. But i gained a friend in the whole deal and i think it was worth it. Plus he has his own paint shop now, he also has a 74 Comet.

I don't have specific shots of the bumpers but you can see them in my gallery pics. I will get some. They do have the guards.

shoot, I my origional bumper did not have the guards and the one the shop replaced it with has them. I tried to bend the old one back to shape but it left a kink in it. in the future I plan to resurface the one that is on it with out the guards.

I had just read the "Whats my console worth" thread right before this one, just thought it was kind of funny/ironic. But suggesting I would be happy to find somebody to use them was not derogatory. As another poster said, he was happy to find somebody to use them even if he only got $20, but made a friend.
