Cam Cam What Cam?

    So I have a 72 Comet with a 302, Aod, 388 gears, and I am thinking about changing the roller cam, (not original motor, sorry) What lift and duration do you think rocks? Thanx, Michael

    I wud consult with the cam mfg's; tell them what I have and my goals and get their recommedations. After all, they have spent untold amount of resources in this field. That's my take.

    Check out comp cam websits an copy a cam spec sheet, fill out all the info you can. Call several cam makers up to see what ther computers and techs say. You also get to see how they treat customers.
