Damn Todd and I thought they just found you under a rock Happy Birthday man,and I hope Cody Wy. is treating you well.
Thanks guys and sorry I havent been around for awhile. Got back to Indiana yesterday and the movers are coming Monday the 2, wave at the orange Maverick heading out I70 Tuesday morning. Wish I could of made the roundup...I really missed the event this year.My Birthday was VERY rough this year...my 10 year old son had a appendicitis on the night of the 21. Then on my Birthday he just about died on us, he went from fine after the operation to a fever of 106.3 and in and out of a coma....all this while I sit helpless 1500 miles away. Our prayers were answered and he is fine now, after 9 days in the hosipital here in Madison and in Louisvilles Childrens Hosipital...I got to bring him home TODAY friday the 30. He looks like he went to hell and back, but I dont care he is home. He has had more things poked and pushed into him, and more test run on him than I can count...had 5 CAT scans alone. I showed him some of the pictures of the roundup here on the web, he said Dad can we go again next year? Well it looks like we will do our best to make the roundup next year with a 1500 one way road trip. Todd
WOW I have had a temp at 105 and never went comatose but it was hell absessed tonsils 12 days in the hospital when I was 12. Thank GOD your prayers were answered. I am glad everything worked out. Buy the kid a maverick for his 14 or 15 B-Day and start restoring it with him. Good Father/Son time IMO. Good Luck
Happy Birthday a bit late, and sorry to hear about all of the health issues with your son. Very glad he is better, and I will keep him in my prayers. Take care man. Preston
Todd glad to hear all is doing well now, and billy was bummed about missing the roundup as well. maybe next year we can get the boys back together. when are you heading back to Cody?? and how are you liking it??
Todd, man you were missed at the Roundup. I got tears in my eyes reading bout your boy. THAT is what is important in life, and I am thanking the man upstairs that outcome is good. If you never make it to another Roundup, you are my friend. A bit late, but happy birthday. Dan
Todd, what an ordeal to go through. A lot to be thankful for sure, I am glad he is home, and he is doing better. Must be quite a guy to go through what he did, and to care about going to the round-up with his dad. Take care, Dave
Thanks everyone.......he is home and doing better everyday. Robert thanks, We are planning on leaving Tuesday morning, should put us there Friday sometime. How do I like it......I love it great area ( I can roam around at 10,000 feet) working for a great company with good people...I feel at home all ready. Cars dont rust there and there are old muscle cars just sitting in fields...havent found any Mavericks, but I will cause the boy wants one. Dan.....thank you for the comments, I really missed the Roundup this year and the wonderful group of people...even John Ford...lol. Brent wants to go to the Roundup again so hopefully next year we will be back. Todd
....my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Happy late birthday and safe travel on your move to your new home.
Todd, I'm very sorry that it has taken me so long to post on this. I guess you know by now that you were missed and and I want you to know my prayers of thankfulness are with you and your family. Pretty scary stuff, it really makes me think about my 2yr old and I pray that he has to go through as little as possible, and I think about how helpless a parent must feel. I'm glad to hear that you like your new job and area, would love to see you at the next round up! Take care Todd and family.
