my T5 is leaking fluid out the yoke so i replaced the seal and it is still leaking ?? can it be because i am using the stock output shaft for the maverick and not the mustang are they different sizes and i made sure that when i put the driveline in that it didn't pop that round spring thing that helps seal it do you think the c4 rear seal is the same size but a lil bit smaller seal part
what condition is the section of yoke that rides in the seal? try taking some sand paper and polishing it. if its pitted from rust or grooved you will have to replace it.
Tailshaft leak I wud do the exam on the yoke first. I had a similar problem w/ an axle seal. The folks who rebuilt my entire housing axle to axle replaced the seal three times B4 they found some kind of knick on the place where the seal rides shaft. They polished it; I guess w/ emery and that seems to have corrected the issue. If that don't resolve it then maybe the bushing is the problem.
do you know where i can get the puller from look at this http://www.dfwstangs.net/forums/showthread.php?p=5683558 and there it is but it looks like they don't sell it http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item...&group_ID=1617&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog

Not hard with the right tool...close to impossible without. Any tool rental should have what you need.
It may also be that the yoke is supposed to be larger on the outside diameter than the C4 is. This is sometimes a problem with autos and I don't see why Ford would limit it to just the autos.
