after getting factory buckets seats for my mav, i now need to get them recovered. both buckets and the rear seat. here is my question. i have never had seats recovered before and i am wanting to financially prepare to do this job well. what kind of cost can i expect to have a shop recover all 3 seats? nothing too wild. just single color. tan. any ideas?

I recently got a quote to do just that and he made out like he was giving me a real good deal. Wanted $700. Gonna get a couple more quotes first. There is a member on here that does covers. I need to check with him.

U might want to try this guy fmc56 on this forum. He did this guys seats "bobthackett" and I plan on having him do mine. Bob and I recently met for the first time and attend a show here in the southland region of Chicago. I was impress w/ fred's work and last I ck w/ him price was reasonable. Both of these individuals are members here. Pm Fred if ur interested. I think Bob told me Fred made the door panels too.

[IMG] Fred Carello (fmc56) Does nice work. I purchased new upholstery from him for my front buckets...The quality is unsurpassed. Last I knew 500.00 got you a complete set (2 frnt buckets and rear seat skins) from Fred in Factory Original vinyl patterns.
He is the man to talk to for new seat skins. Of course you will still have to get the stuff put on unless you do it yourself.

hey dub if your gonna do it,do it right.fred's definately the only guy you want.heres the backseat and also look at the door panel repros that mojo posted.i looked for a very very long time for door panels that werent wrinkled or tore.the solution was in my grasp the whole time, once again fred's your man.i have interior doors that look better than new and unique at the same time.hey fred, question for ya. when you breathe out does at least a little of the smoke that everyone blows up your a$s come out?

and also pay no attention to the wrinkle in the front seats. like fred told me after the summers heat they have since snugged up real nice.we probably could have added a little foam before putting them on but no worries now
