Door panel emblems

    Who knows the story on these door panel emblems, they have tooling like leather work and are larger than regular emblems. Who has them on thier car?

    No not going on 72, I picked them up from a member on the board because I thought they were neat, I have seen a picture of the deluxe gas cap that matchs them but havent seen it in person and probably never will

    it's another thing they offered in '71 i believe. i also have a set of them but have no clue what i'll do with them.

    i seen a car at the round up in '06 that had them, the gas cap, and matching grille emblem but cant remember who's car they were on :rolleyes:

    Yes...it was a 1971 thing. I had some on a 1971 I parted out.

    They were used on the comfort weave panels. At least that is what I have seen. I have a set I need to dye for my '72.
