What ford truck can i get a 9" rear end out of that may come with 373 or 411 gears.
Also, is there any 9 inch ford rear end that will just bolt in?
If so what years and models please.
    Thanks!

Those gear ratios ? Almost none, most had 3.50's The best bet to find a posi (traction-loc) unit in a 9" rear is look for one from a Bronco or 4wd pickup. As for bolt in 9's, your only choice is a late 70's Granada, Monarch (it was an optional upgrade in these two) or Lincoln Versailles (all had a 9, but with 2.50 or 2.75 ratios, some had trac-loc) Next best bet is a 57-59 Ford, these came with 3.70's but no trac-loc.

57 Ranchero and 57 wagon had 9" rears that bolt right in. Shoulda said something before the Gathering. Got 2 sitting right here. They came to Az. from Crownsville, Md. via Owensboro.(y)

Years ago one of the stock car teams that I worked with, located a 9 inch center section with 411 gears and a traction lock unit in a scrap yard. They pulled it out of a 68 or 69 Ford van that had a 6 cylinder engine.

They needed the 411 gears and I took the traction lock unit :bananaman
