i havent been on for awhile been busy with another project but back to the mavericks and plans have changed because i scored a 73 that is perfect. It has new quarters fresh paint. Its set up for the track. Brand new leaf springs, cal trac traction bars, frames tied and stiffened, new 10 gal fuel cell, 6 point roll cage, 9 inch rear end. I filled my truck with all the parts that came with it. Also its setup to be a stick car. All for only 800 bucks. So my money will be going towards building an engine for this car to go racing next spring. The plan 1. Going to paint and put back together the 77 4Door 2. Put 2.3L 5speed in 76 2door to become my daily driver 3. Build engine and put together 73 drag project Well i have a lot on my plate so you guys will be hearing from me a lot hopefully with updates, and lots of questions
When i build an engine for my maverick i think im going to go with a 347 stroker build ive seen some real high numbers on them
You got a good deal. Noow the fun begins. 347 is a good engine especially if you don't want to cut the shock towers.
