Ok my surgery is done so maybe I can get back to work on my projects. The styroids that I put my Mav hood on are finally starting to take affect. Some of you may like it but I am sure not all of you will. It has been fun making the partial molds in order to put the final plug together with and when I get that done I can pull the final mold. Looking forward to an honest opinion from some real Mav lovers. To all the Comet Kids on here, I am not forgetting the Mav's cousin I just need to find a hood to work from.
OK, tomorrow I am heading for the suppliers to pick up materials to lay up the mold. Been working on it as much as possible and can't wait to pull the first piece. A couple of friends stopped by the other day to pick up a seat I reupholstered for them and when they saw the mockup sitting on the horses, Ralph, the older brother said that it was a very subtle way of getting in your face. I don't know if that was a complement or not but knowing him, I'd put money on a big "all right" Will post some pics as soon as I pull the proto hood. Hopefully next week.
