I found a black wire, gauge cluster.

Im going through all my wires and i happened to find a black wire on my guage cluster that was cut. Any idea what it might be to? Its torward the top.

 

Maybe instrument light? Did you check for power? Check with key in all 3 positions and lights on-off.

 

lights came on as usual. May be but... weres the other end lol


Also does the brake pedal have a plug on the front of it right above where your foot goes? mine wasnt working for some god forsaken reason.

Wiring diagrams shows the black wire is the ground wire.

 

so should i just ground it to anything?

 

I`d turn everything on first and check it for power.

 

Ground it to something that is grounded to the battery. Don't ground it to plastic or metal that is bolted to plastic. The metal behind the kick panel will be a good choice.

 

Check for power before you ground it!
