Done these in MS paint, so the quality is not the best. Toying with the idea of some black stripes to accent the sides. One is a Grabber style stripe, only smaller, with the chrome trim on top of the stripe. The other is a black rocker panel, with or without a pinstripe on the upper body line. The center of the hood will have a Grabber style stripe, but will not be an exact copy. What do ya'll think? Which one do you like the best? Or none at all? No wrong answer, just looking for a little feedback, good or bad....

I like pic number one with the Grabber striping, sorta hard to do anything with the chrome molding but it is what it is.

I like the looks of your car without any striping, I would cut the shackles down though if it was my car

I like pic #2... The blacked out rockers make the car look longer and sleeker. Its a good look...

That is on the to do list, just haven't gotten around to it yet.
Got out there today and stripped off all the chrome and bumpers. Gonna revisit a few places I missed last time and then respray it.

Actually that's not LDO trim, it's Exterior Decor Group trim. ;)

Sorry Lance, I'm keeping the trim. It's the small narrow one, not the wider LDO style. Too much work to welding up all those all holes, and I don't have a wire welder anymore...

Yeah, I was thinking about a Comet GT style stripe there too. Wider in back, then narrowing out at the door to a point on the front fender. The car had a small pinstripe simular to that when I got it, that broke just in front and behind the door handle.

Wesley, I like yours, 73 Grabber style, but mine will be black as I already have the paint. I first thought about doing it that way, but decided I wanted the black to be an accent, instead of a major color.

Good suggestions all, keep'em coming! :Handshake

Number three, subtle but enough to draw attention.

I don't like any black on it. I would look into chrome hood inserts and tail light bezels. Maybe a subtle gray or silver pinstripe along the top of the fender line done by a pro. With or without a second contrasting color. Maybe a bit on the hood too. Just subtle though.

I like grabber stripes but not with chrome molding.

The muscle car look has a lot to do with the ratio of glass to the side of the car. Tall sides and short glass is a muscular look. Mavericks have tall glass to begin with. Painting the rocker black makes the side look shorter. So i don't like that idea.

I liked the third choice best but its too heavy and dark for me. A tastefully placed pinstripe would be my choice.
