Anybody got any thoughts on running an engine fan clutch on a 200 six cylinder with A/C? Fan blade is shrouded if it makes any difference.

Don't know if it'll give me a little more power running at highway speed?

It'll give you a little more power everywhere. I think it could be as much as 10 HP on some applications. Especially if your replacing a stock A/C flex fan that has more blades and is heavier.

Just dug up an old thread from 2005 that had some pretty good discussion on fans. (Electric, Flex, clutch, yada yada)

The discussion and opinions (as might be imagined) range all over the place. I think I'm going with the clutch and the stock 5 blade fan.
