I have looked for the person that posted that he had to clean his lot but can not find his post, must be blind. What I am looking for is a dash padfor Maverick or Comet. It does not have to be in great shape but fixable or close to fixable. Project piece. Anyone have one?? Thanks
A lot of guys run with dash caps, which are quite good, hard to tell from the real thing. A good dash pad in one of these car is pretty scarce ... probably run you $300. I have only come across two in 25 years personally. The sun bakes them pretty hard here. My first Comet was only a 9 year old car at that time, and the pad was in 20+ pieces then.
Yeah, you can say that again. I didn't even realize that the previous owner put a cap on mine until I disassembled the dash to paint it.
