    1974 Mercury Comet- 6 cylinder
    I'm in the process of buying a 1974 Mercury Comet for a good price. It is in good condition and has a 6 popper in it. Safe Auto told me that most of them has a 8 cylinder and Can't quote my a correct Quote. Is a 6 popper rare ? By the way, mine is a 4 door sedan.

    No a 6 cylinder is not rare in any way at all, most came with 6 cylinders.. More came with 6 cylinders then v8s by a long shot.
