I think we really need to flood the magazine with mavericks next year.

I think it would be awesome to have 15 or 20 mavericks all of a sudden jump up out of nowhere and completely overrun that magazine, if even for one issue.

they will print ALL entries that follow their guidelines for pictures and info.

I didn't do it this year because mine was disassembled and not running at the time the entries were needed.

But I plan on doing it next year for sure!

I guess I'll have to buy my second copy in 2 years, I always feel so dirty when I buy PHR.

 

Yeah, it is a bit cheesy at times. But I need SOMETHING to read when I am "on the throne"

 

My 72 in PHR

That's my 72 Grabber in the August PHR. My buddy has a 70 Valient and is also in there a few pages away. It was his idea to send in the pictures. The picture in front of my car with the engine hanging is with my buddy Glen and his 6 year old son Andrew. Andrew has been going around telling everybody he is famous now that he is in a magazine!

They screwed up on two things, it has 10" rear DRUM brakes and 1.6" exhaust valves. I wrote in about pulling the front wheels and they called it 'hanging hoops' whatever the heck that means. It was cool at the local car show last nite where my car got a lot more attention then usual

 

I was going to submit mine but it was piled under parts in the midst of a 3G alternator upgrade, new sealed battery box, all new ignition and charging cables, etc.

Hopefully I can submit next year.

I think it would be cool to just out of the blue have 7 or 10 mavericks/comets in the magazine.
