Hey guys I thought this was more funny then me sharing my car won best muscle car. Yep you hear right best muscle car. Now the funny thing is my white car won and that car has like dings all over it! (My Bule Car was entered in Best Ford Class and got beat out by a Ford Galaxy which was really nice and was well deserved.) Now if you look at the link below you should see some of the cars that were at this show! I'm talking Corvettes, 440 hemis, El Caminos, Trailered camaros and some very nice cars! Now either the judges were drunk or maybe Mavericks are really comming up these days! I guess it has just been etched in my mind that Mavericks aren't muscle cars. Well I say that because of how people would treat me at all these car shows I went to back in the early 90's and even late 80's always knocking my Maverick. Oh wells i just thought it was funny... don't get me wrong i'm happy I won but it was just a shocker. I have always thought that the Maverick's day was coming, but Wow that is some pretty good competion! The funny thing is can you imagine these guys going home or back to work to say that they lost to a Maverick! Most people that haven't seen a Maverick in a long time, sure would jeer at that!
i'm 17 and i never heard of a maverick when i got mine. but since then i've have quite the time. i'm stopped almost once a week by people wanting to talk to me about my car, and the stares are crazy. my friends always used to want to race to see whos car was faster...thats stopped now. so don't doubt it, the mavericks a muscle car alright, and a damn good one in my mind.
