    Hi all,
I was wondering what everyone's experience was with painting Grabber grills black again. What color/brand of paint would be good? What should I use to clean off the plastic so the paint sticks? Thank you for any responces.

I repainted my grill black. I scrubbed it out with a brush and soppy water, let it dry real good, then used Rustoleum semigloss black in the rattle can. Looks good as new

Before putting my 72 back together I decided to clean 30 years of dirt off the grill. After filling the bath tub with warm, soapy water (wife was not around) I started scrubbing out the each square hole. After about an hour, I was done. Figure something like 190 holes, each with 4 sides. I wore a toothbrush out, and my knees felt like they belonged on an old scrub-woman, but the grill was cherry. Cleaning tip:

Soak the grill for a while in the warm water. I added dish soap and some 409.

Thank you, guys! I will give this a try around Thanksgiving, since my weekend now will be busy. Thanks again.
