Just wanted to say hello to anyone who may be on right now. I am a new 1975 Comet (2 door) owner and I am sure I will have a ton of questions that hopefully I can get most answers from this forum. My comet is a running restoration project. Currently has a in line 6 cylinder with auto tranny that I am planning to replace with a V-8 over the next year. I am planning to keep the car as original as possible aside from the drive train. One thing I am puzzeled about is I was working on the electrical system today trying to find reverse light wire and I looked everywhere I could thing of and I couldn't finD a fuse box. Is it me or did Mercury not put on in this vehicle?

Welcome Welcome Wesley and Erick from Northeastern Illinois. Ur in the right place for info./ knowledge there's plenty of it on this forum. I've been here only 11 mos. and it's help me tremendously, saved me a lot of money, mistakes, time and frustration to name a few. Erick >> Fuse box is in the upper left side under the dash. U have to really get ur head under there to see it. U can't be timid abt contorting ur body to find it. Some here have modified and relocated their boxes. I plan on a mod sometime in the future. Gud Luck w/ ur cars.
Welcome to the board guys. If you go with a 347 stroker it'll fit a lot better and have more power than you need to get in the 12's. I run high 11's-low 12's with my 308 Mav.
