had the original bench seat in the car which was tore up and so soft i sank like 5in when i sat in it hahahaha. but i wanted to switch to 65-68 mustang bucket seats in the future and since im restoring a 66 convertible mustang for my father and the 66 seats that were in it are great and its going to be a year or so before its on the road again so i made up the brackets and bolted them in. they might not match the color of my interior but still tell me what you all think
i plan on doing the samething you did because i like the lowback bucket. what mods did you have to do?
thanks guys Yea ill post pics of the brakets i made up they are just out of angle iron that rise up the seat to the right level and then put a nut on either side of the seat bolt so i could rise and lower it just a little
here a pic sorry took so long been really busy graduating this Thursday cant wait. well i just took a piece of angle iron and 14 gauge sheet metal and welded it together they are about 1 1/2 in high except the back bolt by the tunnel is 2 in high to level it out. the bolts from the tracks have a nut on top and below the top of the the spacer. so it can be raised and lowed the full length of the bolt. then another bolt offset on the bottom to go thur the floor. i hope this helps
