info on sealing cowl pan

    i cant seem to find tutorial on sealing cowl pan now that i removed the top vent assy..cowl pan has a few pin holes around the top hats,,any one put me to the tutorial..?? thx in advance for help!

    i used por-15 and fiberglass for the inside of the cowl and then welding the fins close so no water could get in the cowl when i get home ill post the step by step websites i used on the phone right now haah but it works great try searching sealing cowl and cowl rust im sure youll find it quick

    If the holes are just pin holes, clean up the metal and coat it with a good rust paint like Eastwood's rust encapsulator. Then coat it with Eastwood's brush on seam sealer. Its pretty thick stuff and should have no problems filling pin holes. You could put some masking tape over the pin holes on the back side as a temporary dam. Coat it with the seam sealer. Then remove the tape and coat the other side.
