164t bellhousing

    Anyone use the 164t bellhousing (from mustang) i have one and i want to use it whit a 50oz motor but i dont know which flywheel will work. I have read on other forum that one from 87+ f150 will work but i want to know if someone can confirm this. thank you

    I'm assuming you are talking about a bellhousing for a c4 tranny. The bellhousings are the same for the c4's. Either the flexplate is a 157 tooth or a 164 tooth. The model of car is not a factor. Only wether it is the right size bellhousing.

    i have a bellhousing for a manual transmission. I decoded the number on my bellhousing and i have a 164t but i dont find any flywheel listed 164t 50oz only 164t 28oz.

    Probably have to get an aftermarket flywheel to get it 164 t and 50 oz weight....
