Just bought a 75 maverick to replace my 87 recently decesed cougar. I plan on using the 5.0 HO, AOD and exhaust system from the cougar for the maverick. The engine is a 95 mustang GT motor with GT40 iron heads, 1.7 roller rockers, mustang shorty headers, gt40 explorer intake 65mm throtlebody and underdrive pullys. The trans is a 93 AOD with a B&M shiftkit and a 2800 non lockup converter. The list of stuff I need keeps growing but that's the way it is. So far I need v8 motor mounts, v8 frame mounts, v8 cross member, AOD trans cross member, front spindles and rotors, disk brake master cylinder, 3.55 trac-loc 8" center section, electrick fuelpump and a raditor. Hopefully I can get this thing together and share my experince with all other forum members.
im interested to see if that foxbody axle back exhaust section will fit the maverick, it looks promising
sweet. I own a 75 Mercury Comet wanna help fix up mine? lol i need more than just stock 70-85 horsepower Welcome from Green Bay Wisconsin (CheeseHead)
On the cougar I have a SN95 Exhaust system, SN95 rear differential and Lincoln Mark VII spindles. I'm a fan of mixing and matching.
