idle rpms?

    yea and i drove her today 30 so miles and just getting to start right up an idle in park is more of the problem once the engine is like warmed up and the fuel has like time to idk what it does but i can put it in drive and idles at 800-1000 and theres no real problem then after just getting her started and idling in park is the problem and i had this problem before with the engine

    Sounds like choke and fast idle adjustment are not right.

    yea i replaced 2 vacuum caps that were cracked and riched it up a little and it idles about 1600 in park and 800 in drive the fast idle screw it under the choke right?

    Yep! You set it with the engine cold and the choke set. When the choke comes off it should be completely ineffective. That is when the idle stop screw determines the idle speed.
