I was on my way to autozone to return a bearing/seal press kit after changing my front wheel bearings and I of course use my turn signals and I hear a click from around my headlight switch and now my turn signals stay on when I turn them on instead of blinking like they should... I had changed my headlight switch a couple years ago to fix my horn and sidemarkers (which didn't help they still didn't work and still don't), so do you think it's broken again? I've read that the turnsignals (front, rear, and sidemarkers), and horn have relays built into the headlight switch, if it's a relay is there a way to trip it without having to install another one? I had to take it to a shop last time because my hands are to big to get up in there. I'd appreciate any suggestions. thank you.

Check to see if your rear taillight is working on that side.

ok... the indicator stays constant nomatter which way I turn the signal, sidemarkers don't work at all, the front and rears stay on but with a irreagular flicker, the right side flickers (not blinks) more than the left, front and rear per side is the same behavior, hazard lights work normal. looks like a short to me but with this type of indication I have no clue where to start looking...

by flasher you mean the headlight switch right?? or is the flasher another part somewhere? On those lights the ground is the housing isn't it? thank you.

If you want to find a bad ground you have to do more than look at it.
Put a volt meter on it:
with the light on, place the + lead of the meter on the wire terminal and the negative lead on the ground post that it is connected to and then to a good ground.
If there is more than 0.5 volts registered at either then it is bad. Take it apart, sand it until it is shiny, reconnect it and then seal it.

so even if the hazard lights work it could still be the flasher?

Yes, it could still be the flasher. There are two different flashers, one for the hazards and one for the turn signals. The bottom one is the headlight switch.

top pic is the "flasher" relay. it is under the dash near the fuse block on its own wire\plug. should be silver.

Put in a Heavy Duty Flasher and it'll blink (the same speed too) no matter how many lights are working.
