I'm quite sure that it doesn't matter to much, as I believe they are the same size for either Engine, but I said My car has a 170 straight6 in it, Upon closer inspection, it turns out I actually DO have a 200 straight 6, lol.

I also found a place in town that rebuilds older Transmissons(normally Chrysler/Dodge but can do fords/c4, etc etc) and have the guy seeing about what it would run, and I figured I would ask here.

Depending on where you are, What's about the normal price you would pay for a rebuilt transmission... or to have a transmisson rebuilt. Just curious.

Still might go the "figure out a way to ninja my car halfway across the state to get the other transmisson" route. LOL.

So A total rebuild with new top of the line shift kits and all the bells and whistles is gonna run 950. I believe that also includes all Kevlar bands and I believe a new torque converter... so What do you all think? All their replacement clutches/products are Transgo, and that price includes an black(or whatever base color I want) repaint.

Just wanting some opinions as far as price goes...

    Is that installed? lol

You still have to install it and with all that money spent, how are you going to rebuild the engine? Ill talk to you on face book about the transmission deal later.
