Boomerangs

I've seen these talked about in other pages and have no idea what they are. What are the boomerangs? Thanks

 

They are the curved (most often chrome) peice of trim by your pop-out rear windows.

I'm sure someone will post a picture soon.

 

I hope so, Thanks How do you take them off ? I have a car thats going to the junk yard Mon and they are still on there.

 

There is one phillips screw on the outside flat verticle area of the "boomerang" towards the top of the piece. There is one nut inside under the sheetmetal at the lower (horizontal) portion of the trim. Remove the inner rear finish panel(pull rear seat out...bottom and back) to remove panel.Reach up under quarter structure to area where boomerang sits and feel around... youll find the fastener.

No need to remove the inside rear seat side panels. That nut can be reached from inside the trunk.

 

Or a car that you sold and bought back later
