It has been a while since I used a Demon carb but I liked the one I had. They went through a quality control problem for a while that left people finding shavings in the fuel bowls. I thnik they are past that. I don't think much of the Street Avenger as I had three in a row with warped base plates. I went back to my trusted 1850-600 for my 460. I think you need to decide rather you are more interested in street or strip. For mostly street driving if you want to tune on the carb and get it perfect then leave it alone and enjoy some crisp off idle acceleration I would stick with a standard 1850-600cfm carb from Holley. Once you tune it to your engine I think it will have great throttle response for normal street driving and an occasional blast from the stop light. It might hurt you some on the top end but that is why I say you need to figure out what is more important. Just my 2 pennys clint
Thank you for the information, im going to stick to street i guess. id rather have good throttle response then top end....in this car at least.
