    1963 comet
hello everybody, been obsessed with old cars since i was a toddler and finally bought my own, i just got a 1963 mercury comet, she will be comming home tomorrow and i am super stoked, she is definately a project car, she needs a new tranny as well as some body work and paint and the list could be even longer when i finally get her home and get under her hood and get to know her. I am loving the fact there is this forum where i can come to get advice as this is my first comet. First thing is shes getting a bath, pictures definately to come! Thanks!

i am puting a 351w into a 1963 comet with a t-5 out of a cobra and going to do a hydraulic clutch out of a 1991 mazda 626 like i saw some guy did. my questions are 1) i plan on taking out the 3 humps from each shock towers. does anyone have a way they did it that worked out well for them? 2) do header fit better or do the manifolds. i really dont mind going either way. 3) has anyone done a hydraulic conversion that worked out well for them. Thank you all for any info and experience you share with me. i have the fabrication skills and the shop to do just about anything, research i found seems to always be a good start tho. thank you all for the welcome as well
