Well we had the meet and I can't speak for the other fellas but I had a ball after the rain finally left about 1:30 or so. Sure was nice to meet the fellas . Dennis,Terry& his wife,Don,Frank and his family and the new member Bruce and his son Tyler. I stayed up on sunday and the racing was great. The Mavericks were kicking butt when we left. I gave out 6 applications so maybe we gained some members. Several members stopped by and visited with us with out there cars. Just getting to see the "Sprint" of Mavaholics was great. Anybody who hasnt seen this car dont know what they are missing. I will post more pics later if anyone wants to see them but for now here are a few.I hope my wife and I did'nt get on Dennis or Terrys nerves asking so many drag racing and Mav/Comet questions but inquiring minds want to know (y) Thanks for coming and all the help fellas. Sorry for messing around and not getting Don in the pic before he left but it was nice to meet all of you guys. We found a reese tow bar today for $20 and a nice hood trim piece for a Maverick . Now if I can find the rest of it:D . Its a start

It was fun even though we had our share of bad luck. Terry broke his car first time out,(I'll let him tell ya the story), The weather wasent the best, and I pulled a DA and lost my keys to the Sprint. I had to dissassemble the column and rig it so I could get the car out of the trailer. But the company more than made up for it. There are now more faces to put to the names on this board. Besides the people Tim mentioned we also met Katie and her Dad. Hopefully she will find her Maverick soon. The responce to our cars was excellent.

I had a great time!:bananaman Even with the spring perch on both sides bent around my rearend and the drive shaft gone I still had a good time. (must have been the company)

It was nice to meet everyone and it just goes to shows that there is some great people on this board!

It's a shame we had some bad weather to start with but the Comets/Mavericks were there in force... at least a 12 cars that I can remember counting.

Thanks Tim, I enjoyed myself and look forward to next year with a running car not a broke one.

Dennis take care of that bad case of CSR and try not to give it to anyone else... wait what I'm I saying I already have it, I just forgot.

Thanks for posting the pics Terry . In the excitement of getting the sunshine finally i forgot to take many pics. So much to do then.I didnt stay until they finished racing but the Mavs/comets were stroking when we left. There were several more racing on Sunday including this i guess "Pro-stock "car. I'm not to sure what the class was called but it was fast. Also the bullit club put on a nice Simulated chase scene with these 2 cars. It was cool.

Referring to the green Mav with the hood up...

I really like that color of upholstery, sort of a cream/tan?

Do have an actual color name/number for it?
