i was having issues when i was wiring my volt gauge but i went out there today and pulled this wire out of my volt regulator( seen in the pic) when i pulled the wiring harness to paint the engine bay the wire fell out i put it back in the lowest hole of the vr but when i pulled the wire my volt gauge doesnt jump around when i have the key off and when the key is on it reads a solid 12 volts. can anyone tell me where this wire goes???
Yellow wire I have a 73 wire drawing it show a heavy yellow wire that provides power to the headlight switch that comes off the starter relay and it shows a yellow wire that goes to the noise suppresor capacititor . There also appears to be a yellow wire that's attached to the fusible link between the alternator and the starter relay...........Hope that helps
there is two yellow wires that come from the positive side one goes into the wiring harness like the wrapped part then there is this one thats just hanging out there i dont ever remember it just hanging out there before and there is 6 wires in the volt regulator right now so im lost at where it goes like a picture of someones would be nice
