I am getting ready to mount my module on my 70 model.....looks like it should go on the shock tower. Just wanting to make sure.

Duraspark wasn't available until 74.... And it was mounted under the Horn.

You mean this right? I've seen it repeatedly mounted on the shock tower. Doesn't mean its right, but that's usually where I see it.

On my current car mines just bolted onto the fender apron because I was swapping ignition late at night and wanted to drive it the next day, so that's where it went. When I detail my engine bay I'll decide where I want its permanent home to be.

My car is mounted in approx the same spot as urs. My car is a 73, I think the guy I bought it from mounted it. I have P.Str, washer res. n coolant res so that's abt the only place they cud put it.

The car pictured is a 73 as well, so it was added by the previous owner and thats where he put it.

Thanks guys. May sound like a silly question but I have found that in forums...it is best to ask that assume. I have avoided some problems by asking first.

I was wrong, mines under the horn not the reservoir..

I wonder what is concourse correct...

Mine doesn't even have holes in the tower....When i did the duraspark conversion on the falcon i used parts from a 74 maverick. And it had it under the Horn also.

I've never worked on one newer than 73, so I don't know what's actually correct, and I've seen in mounted in several places. I scanned the gallery for a bit, but no help.
