...........My Maverick will not being going to the body shop anytime soon, as I was backing up the trailer to move my engine to storage, I jacknifed it into my dad's 2 month old 2004 Dodge Ram Quad Cab and wrecked the passenger bedside. Go me. Now I will have to pay for the truck before I can touch the Mav again.
sworry to hear that, but accidents do happen. i pulled a u-turn in front of a friends house, when i was home on leave many years ago and the rear of my dads brand new plymouth swung and hit a tree. he got over it (in about 5 years). only kidding. your not the first and won't be the last to have something like this happen.
Accidents happen, nobody was hurt, and new trucks can be repaired. I dont think there is anyone here that does not have a story like yours, specially us oldtimers,, lots more years to goof stuff up. Dan
"Well, It does have "RAM" on it. You was just following instructions." But he forgot to read the DODGE on the front and back Yep, I ran into my dads new Lincon mark IV with his F-250 when I was 16. Talked about a man "fit to be tied" I changed a lot of semi truck tires that summer
Surely the truck was insured? Still sucks that it happened but the deductible has got to be less than the cost of the repair. Hang in there... Sam
I know you're right, but that's a shame. Too bad the insurance industry works like that. They really have people over a barrel. The law requires motorists to have insurance, but the companies rape us so badly that we're afraid to use it when we need it. What a world. Good luck, it'll work out. Sam
Thankfully, I haven't had any such experiences yet, but with the way my family's personal auto yard seems to keep growing, I'm bound to have an accident. The thing is, we our driveway is built on a hill. ALL of the cars sit in the driveway...=to get a car out from the back, you have to move a few others first! And my car, it happens to be sitting at the very back, stuck in a corner David
