Jimmy have fun and drive safely, looking forward to seeing a time slip although I know it will be not be the best because you are going to have to learn how to drive the new combination. Practice, practice and more practice. :thumbs2:

I am shooting for next weekend, had to fabricate a driveshaft loop and get slicks mounted on draglights and hook up one wire on line lock. I am going to be very cautious for awhile and dont expect to be quick as I will be learning as well

Yellow75, Mike thank you for the kind words ,i think i did pretty good for my fist time ever Bracket racing,i did 4 passes and my worst one was 11:85 and no red lights and my two best were ,2nd best .108 R/T, 1/4 mile time 11.785 at 113.15 MPH, my best pass today was .039 R/T,1/4 mile time11.717 at 114.3 MPH on 94 oct pump gas.I think with the confidence i now have and a little more tuning tomorrow will be quicker i hope ,LOL.:chirp: Ill take pics of my time slips tomorrow P.S Mike i had to go up from a 26 inch tall Street drag tire(almost spent) to a New 28 inch tall slick so with my 4:11 gears my times are a little slower but ill get it figured out .

Well when you finally decide to take the car off of the street and make it a dedicated track car you can switch out those gears and gain a lot, but even running the combo you have now I can see 11.50s or better coming this year.

Launch rpm, shift points, jetting, timing and tons of other things will all gain you more, you will get it down I am sure of that. Main thing is you are happy with it and consistant.

All this drag talk makes me itchy, next weekend we will cure that (y)

Bracket Racing ,out In the first round

Well folks ,had a great weekend of racing ,but it was a bitter-sweet ending.Bitter cuz i was out in the first round, not cuz i screwed up,i just cant dial it in ,sweet cuz, it keeps getting faster and faster every pass .My best pass yesterday was a 11:71 and today was elimanated by going to fast with a 11:64 and i know theres still lots left ,i can see it hitting 11:50 or less with no problem.Ill get her dialed in sooner or later,i think its going to take a few more weekends of Bracket racing till she runs out of speed and i find a dial in .:thumbs2:

Eliminated for going too fast?.... pshaw... doesn't that just take the fun out of it? :D

Was a nice but crisp cool weekend... probably great for racing, eh? Looking forward to hooking up with everyone soon!

Nice, 11.7's, Good Luck on getting it tuned right, my dad's mustang could probably run a time like that if it was tuned right, but it's got all sorts of problems, EFI is nice but it can really be a pest to mess with...
